Don't let the rain ruin your Memorial Day. There's still fun things to do besides Figawi, the Bruins game, and trips to the Cape. And you still get to BBQ a little at the same time. And besides, what's better than free wine and sliders? Ummmm, nothing.

Andy Grammer is such a cool guy. Did you know that he wrote "Keep Your Head Up" for himself. One day he was having a tough day singing on the streets and he just decided to write himself a song to, ya know. keep his head up. Boston Globe music writer Sarah Rodman catches up with Andy back stage at the House of Blues before he hits the stage for a sold out crowd. Bet Andy doesn't have to write any more songs to cheer himself up anymore.

When we headed out on this story, we knew that we were going see Wyclef Jean sing in support of Boston Marathon Bombing victims and One Fund Boston. But we had no idea that he was going to ad-lib an entire song for the City of Boston. This dude is funny. Despite his NY roots, he loves Boston, almost as much as we do.

The outpouring of support for our beloved City of Boston in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon Bombings has been incredible. No one could argue that fact. But these little gems might be our favorite display of Boston Strong pride and support.

Move over Colonnade Hotel, there's a new rooftop pool destination in town that features a sophistication and welcoming air not yet experienced here in Boston. That's right people, cooling off with a dip high in the sky just got a little more fabulous.

Sipping cocktails poolside, partying from bar to bar in support of Boston Strong, rocking out to the local music scene while sipping Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey ... well, that all sounds like Summertime to us.  We can see it, feel it, coming over the horizon.  Summertime in Boston is almost here and you know it, the living sure is easy.

This is truly one of the best times of year to be a Bostonian.  The sun is shining.  Flowers are blooming.  The Bruins are in the playoffs.  And the events and nightlife scene is booming.  As our community continues to rally together following the Boston Marathon Bombing, there's a sense of renewed pride in our City.  And there are also a ton of amazing events being planned to benefit the One Fund and support those injured and affected by the bombing.  This coming week is no different. Bar hop along Boylston Street and the Boston Marathon Finish Line to support the businesses seriously impacted by the bombing and raise funds for the One Fund.  Ask Gronk to stir you up something special behind the bar at Strega Waterfront.  Eat to your heart's content at Boston Bites Back at Fenway Park where 100 of Boston's Best Chefs will be cooking for the One Fund Cause.  Toast the Bruins with a Midnight in Dublin with Kahlua Midnight at some of the hottest venues around the TD Garden.  The possibilities to live Boston Strong are endless and we are all lucky to have such a great City at our fingertips.
